El-Warith Affordable Pilgrimage from Kerbala to Holy Shrines in Syria

The Tourism Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has announced launching El-Warith affordable pilgrimage from the holy city of Kerbala, to Damascus, Syria, to make a pilgrimage to the Lady Zaineb (Peace Be Upon Her).

 

The campaign will begin on the 21st of August 2015. The whole pilgrimage will take approximately 8 days from Kerbala to Kerbala. The first day will be for the assembly point for the pilgrims which will be at Mohammed El-Jawad Mosque, in El-Usra Quarter. The second day will be for offering salutation to Lady Zaineb (Peace Be Upon Her). The third day will be for offering salutation to the El-Fawatim “Women from the lineage of Fatimatuz-Zehra’ (Peace Be Upon Them),” including Ruqaiya “Daughter of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Them),” in addition to visiting the Umayyad mosque. The fourth day will be for resting and shopping. The fifth day will be for offering salutation to Ruqaiya (Peace Be Upon Her), and for touring El-Hameedya market. From there, the pilgrims will go to El-Rabwa touristic site for lunch.

 

The sixth and seventh days will also be for resting and shopping. The eighth day will be for preparing to head back for Kerbala.

 

The cost for every person will be $550, or $600 is the cost which can be paid in installments, provided to have a guarantor who is an employee at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The cost includes three meals per travelling day, transportation by air and land, and accommodation.
