The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine witnessed launching the activities of the first global conference on scholar Waheed El-Bahbahani, on Sunday 2, 2015.
More than twenty Arab and foreign countries participated in the conference, in addition to many scholars attended.
The Shia Endowment Bureau President Mr. sayyed Ala’ El-Musawi, delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine for conducting such a conference which had a great benefit that centered on the parameters and scales; and remembering such great figures is necessary, by whom people may be inspired.
The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, His Eminence, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala’i, delivered a speech in which he mentioned that the conference was conducted to remember such a great scholar El-Bahbahani, by reviewing his scientific heritage, his knowledge, and his morals.
He also mentioned that a religious school will be built and will be named Waheed El-Bahbahani, as part of the memoriam.
Approximately 120 researches were prepared to be delivered on how great El-Bahbahani was and how great his knowledge was.
