The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, His Eminence, sheikh Abdul-Mahdi El-Kerbala’i, discussed with the Indonesian ambassador Mr Safzeen Noored-deen, to Iraq, opening a Quran bureau in Indonesia.
The objective behind this project is to enhance the bonds between the two countries intellectually.
El-Kerbala’i, welcomed the idea and hoped that bonds would be strengthened among Muslims of different denominations in both of the two countries.
The Indonesian ambassador said, “The purpose behind this visit is to constantly communicate with the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and to open a Quran bureau in Indonesia.”
He optimistically expressed his hopeful wishes concerning enhancing relationships between Iraq and Indonesia.
