Until he gets his sight back, Imam Hussain Shrine adopts curing a blind-deaf child (for free)

Under the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority of the Imam Hussain shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the shrine administration has adopted the case of the 12-year-old child Abbas Qassem, to perform several surgeries until he gets his sight back.

The General Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs at the Imam Hussain Shrine, Ahmed Reda Al-Khafaji, said in an interview with the official website, "The 12-year-old child (Abbas Qassem), who suffers from several health problems, had conducted many Surgeries in other hospitals, but unfortunately, all of them were failed"

He added, that "although it's highly expensive to cure such cases, the representative of the supreme religious authority of the Imam Hussain shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, has directed to adopt the kid's case (for free), and will be transferred to one of the most important specialized hospitals, affiliated to the Shrine, which is Imam Zain al-Abidin Hospital"

It is stated that the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine receives hundreds of citizens and patients every day, and does everything to provide the best medical and health services and financial donations.
