During the visit, he said to delegation, “My going to the fourth stage – College of Sport – coincided with the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority's call to picking-up arms against ISIS. At that time, I decided to leave my college and join the paramilitary troops to defend my country.”

"My father bought me the military necessities and encouraged me to go and fight ISIS. My mother was worried about me, but I convinced her and obtained her permission to go," added El-Musawi.

He said further, "I have realized that I have been blessed the whole time I have been fighting ISIS, even when I was shot, the bult hit me in the back and came out of my chest; doctors were surprised it never caused my body any damage."
