Mar 6, 2015. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i mentioned three important issues:
First:
We commend the achieved victories in many parts of the country by the brave volunteers and military forces who dedicated their lives for the sake of freeing their country from terrorism.
The Islamic Supreme Religious Authority honors the courageous efforts of the fighters in eliminating the threat of the terrorist group ISIS in numerous Iraqi cities.
However, a few points and instructions are emphasized by the Religious Authority:
1) The volunteers and military forces must organize their front-lines, develop and enhance battle strategies, and not act impulsively because the enemy will take advantage of any mistake.
2) The fighters must develop a spirit to overcome the psychological strains imposed upon them.
3) In addition, the battles taking place should not threaten any civilian other than the terrorist group and enemies.
Second:
Numerous tribes in Anbar have joined the fight against ISIS; however, they are facing challenges due to the lack of weaponry and necessary equipment to continue their battle against terrorism. Nonetheless, the families in those areas are also facing challenges due to the lack of living supplies.
For this reason, it is the responsibility of the government to provide the necessary support they require to continue their fight against the terrorist groups.
Third: During the past few days, ISIS, and once again have demonstrated their savagery and brutality through the destruction of numerous archeological sites in Nineveh as well as the demolishment of the National Museum in Mosul.
Thus, day after day the cruelty and viciousness of this terrorist group is evidently seen through its hatred towards civilization and humanity.
