Feb 6, 2015. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i mentioned three important issues: The Islamic Supreme Religious Authority reemphasized its request from the government to care for the Iraqi fighters and volunteers and to provide the suitable military and financial necessities they deserve. First: Day after day the savagery and true identity of ISIS, that is far from civilization and humanity is clearly seen by the general public. This is evidently realized through the recent burning of the innocent Jordanian pilot and the loss of lives of many civilians. Such crimes are an indication that this terrorist group will go to the farthest extent to horrify and place fear in the hearts of the victimized citizens. Thus, it is vital that all nations should unite to fight against terrorism and eliminate this terrorist group before it is too late. Second: In addition, His Eminence commended the Iraqi Military Forces and volunteers for their achieved victories in many cities of Iraq and requested the continuation of further abolishment of ISIS. For this reason, the displaced families from these cities decided to move back to their areas and homes after hearing the news about the victories. Nonetheless, El-Kerbala'i demanded the government to provide the appropriate conditions for the families and take all the security measures to ensure the safety of their areas. Third: The announcing of the year's budget is a very significant step towards development and improving the situation of the country. However, the Iraqi House of Parliament must produce new laws and rules to end the existing financial and military complications that have negatively impacted the country and its citizens. In addition, political parties must unite their energies to find solutions for the many faced challenges and cooperate with each other to serve the best interests of Iraq. On the other hand, the government must care and provide the suitable financial support for the elderly, disabled, blind, and those with special needs. These segments of the Iraqi society are unable to live a comfortable and appropriate life due to the fact that their current income does not surpass 100 IQD. Translated By: Ahmed Ali
