His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i, Secretary General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine participated in the opening ceremony of the El-Warith Exemplary Schools in the City of Kerbala. Officials from the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and El-Abbas Holy Shrine attended the ceremony along with the Mayor of Kerbala and other officials from the government council. The event began with a speech by Sheikh El-Kerbala'i where he commended the hard working individuals who ensured the development and success of this project. The motive of this initiative is to raise awareness and improve the educational methods to meet the global standards. His Eminence indicates that the youth population of Iraq is in need of such initiatives to raise a more wise and intelligent generation. The Holy Shrine presented an appreciation award to Khayrat Es-Sibtain Architectural Company and its President for their dedication and work in adopting most of the Holy Shrine projects.
