Jamal Ad-Deen Esh-Shahrastani, Director of the Public Relations Department indicates the arrival of the participating delegates at the "Es-Sajjadia Recitations" Festival. The participating delegates arrived from: The United States of America, Germany, France, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran, and Turkey. More delegates joined later on from Baghdad, Kurdistan, and the Southern cities of Iraq. The Festival consists of several speeches, beginning with a speech from the Secretary General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i, then the President of Shia Council, Sayyed Saleh El-Haidary, and a speech by the Minister of Higher Learning, Dr. Hussein Esh-Shahrastani. Other speeches by European delegates will be delivered by Michael Robin an American Media Reporter; in addition to more speeches by the Arabic delegates, delivered by Sheikh Fadhl Mukhdar. The conference will further have poems and recitations by the Christian Lebanese poet, Joseph El-Hashem, and another recitation by Dr. Salman Hadi El-Ta’ma.
