Oct 18, 2013. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sheikh Abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i, described what is happening nowadays of targeting the crowds of innocents in mourning ceremonies and schools is an attempt to perish life in this country. He called the security forces for taking precautions. Also, he called all Iraqi people for cooperating with the security forces, and each citizen should be a guard for his country in order to observe and prevent the terrorists' criminal acts. His eminence asked the educational system for rebuilding the schools that were destroyed due to the intensity of students. He continued that foreign universities in cooperation with an Iraqi university made a research on the criminal events which took place in Iraq during the previous ten years, it indicated that 500 000 people had died, and 60% of them were killed, and 40% of them died in heart attack and cancer. Concerning the 4o% of those who died in heart attack and cancer, it is possible to limit such a phenomenon by shouldering responsibilities and working together honestly in terms of elevating the level of health in the country. He added that 10 hospitals in Iraq are not completed yet. Therefore, the delay of completing those hospitals issue must be investigated by the authority, in order to improve the reality of health care, in addition to provide those hospitals with highly trained and qualified medical teams, especially, there are 3000 Iraqi doctors in a country, and they might not be able to return to Iraq unless they find the suitable atmosphere to live here. His eminence concluded by emphasizing the necessity of conducting such a study on the health care in the country, in order to limit the diseases from spreading and heal patients, and all that process would definitely help people feel better.
