Thursday, May 23, 2013. The First International Scientific conference on Imam El-Mehdi (May Allah hasten his appearance) closed its activities. The festival held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine under the title of {Imam El-Mehdi (May Allah hasten his appearance) is the future of the world}. The conference shed light upon the philosophy of waiting for the Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah hasten his appearance) that our Prophet Mohammed and his pure family (p.b.u.t) told us about. Many researches delivered at the conference. Sheikh Hasan El-Jewahiri, the Imam of the El-Jewahiri Mesjid (Mosque) in Nejaf province said, "What we are working on nowadays is to prepare people who are waiting for the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah hasten his appearance) very well. It is an important basis that the Imam (May Allah hasten his appearance) needs to find once he appears."Sayed Sami El-Barodi, a grand teacher at the jurisprudential school in Nejaf province said that the conference attempted to be familiar with the political status quo before the Imam's appearance. He also mentioned that such conferences would certainly strengthen the relation between people and the Imam (May Allah hasten his appearance) in order to make it easy to control the course of life after the appearance.By: Mohammed Jasim
