El-Kerbala'i, "Supreme Religious Authority, (Counting votes must be done according to the standards of impartiality )"

Apr 19, 2013, Second part of the Friday sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the supreme religious authority and the preacher of the Friday sermon in Kerbala city, his Eminence Shaik Abdul Mahdi EL-Kerbala’I announced the opinion of the Supreme Religious Authority his eminence Sayed Ali El-Sayestani (May God bless him) concerning the upcoming election determined to be on Saturday Apr 20, 2013. El-Kerbala’i focused on the concern of the religious authority about the future of Iraq this time, which is more important than the previous times according to the statement of the representative of the United Nations right after the last meeting he had with the El-Sayestany.El-Kerbal’i mentioned that the religious authority emphasizes the necessity of voting, and abstain from voting is not a solution for the problems but we all people should vote and choose the best of all. He also said that the religious authority has no opinion towards any candidate and tries to have all Iraqis have their own freedom and will according to the national constitution. It also emphasizes the impartiality during counting votes.El-Kerbala’i concluded by saying that the representative of Secretariat-General of the United Nations Mr. Martin Copler stated that the religious authority sayed Ali El-Sayestani was worried about the election this time more than any time, because it represents the future of Iraq.By: Mohammed Jasim
