The human Resources Department of the Imam Hussein holy shrine held the Second Cultural Symposium within the weekly cultural forum program under the motto of (The cultural invasion & the Islamic buffers). In an interview with Dr. Hikmat 'bead EL-Khafaji from Babylon University said, "Through this symposium, we tried to shed light upon what the Arab societies go through such as cultural invasion and how to protect our societies from the effects that aim at our social life." He also called all Arab societies to hold into their beliefs and traditions. Mr. Talal Fa'iq EL-Kemali, the in-charge of the Human Resources Department at the Imam Hussein holy shrine confirmed that purpose of holding such a symposium was to develop the intellect and cross-fertilize ideas among the Islamic and Non-Islamic well-educated people.
