A unit belongs to the section of receipt of donations and vows granted by pilgrims and persons who would like to donate or who vow to give something for the sake of God.It's been founded in 2006. For the works the unit does; we had an interview with the head of the unit Sami Jabir Hussein, in which he mentioned that one of the works the unit does is selling the stuff taken from inside the windowed cage of Imam Hussein holy tomb that are thrown by pilgrims. Stuff such as pieces of clothes that most of the pilgrims would love to have them for blessing.Gifts brought as vows or donations to the holy shrine by pilgrims where they are a lot and not needed for any purposes then submitted to selling after getting permission from the Secretary-General of the holy shrine.
