The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine visited the city of pilgrims located on Baghdad-Kerbala' road. The focus of the visit was to being informed of the stages of work. He also praised the personnel operating for their efforts and designs. The city of pilgrims is 20 acres. It includes 11 two-story buildings. Each building can include 400 pilgrims. The city also provided with a Clinic, Mosque, facilities, fountains and gardens. Stages of work have been divided into three stages, first stage has been achieved, and the other stages are expected to be achieved in the end of 2013.
