As an annual ritual. Consolers of Kerbala' city population used to tragically march in procession in the Eleventh night of Moharram month holding candles lit up in remembrance of the tragedy of Imam Hussein and his family (p.b.u.t); and mourning with Mrs. Zainab. (Imam Hussein's sister) (p.b.u.h) for that and what happened to her as tragedies and ordeals. The procession marched in some streets round the two holy shrines until they entered the two holy shrines of Imam Hussein and EL-Abbas (p.b.u.t). Shouts about Imam Hussein and EL-Abbas (p.b.u.t) reiterated expressing the deepest condolences on grievous catastrophe. By: Mohammed Jassim
