The general secretariat of Imam Hussein holy shrine has purchased sunshades and installed them in the streets round the holy shrine; in order to protect pilgrims from the heat in summer, and rain in winter. We had an interview with Mr. Abo Degga. the head of the outdoor service affairs department in which he said. "The number of the sunshade is 60 ones. each one is 6 X 6 and 3,5 m height. The total cost is approximately 102000 Dollars. Also, the sunshades are Turkish made". By: Mohammed Jassim
