Friday ceremony: EL-Sayed EL-Safi calls politicians for making a great motive out of Eid (Festival) to affinity and interchange in the interest of our great country

Imam Hussein holy shrine; Friday the Second Ceremony 26-Oct-2012, the representative of the supreme religious authority. His Eminence Sayed Ahmed EL-Safi discussed some multidimensional problems Iraq is going through in the status quo. One of those problems is deterioration of the educational aspect, especially school buildings. His Eminence also mentioned that it turned out through accurate statistics that students in Iraq represent a large number where every family has several students in different stages of school, and it turned out to be most of the students are in the elementary and intermediate schools. What we should do is to take care of those two stages more than the others, because these are very important stages for the students and that is by taking care of those learners. Each of those leaders has to do their best for the groups of the society; by providing them with better schools, and a great ambience. His Eminence criticized the tarrying in achieving school buildings by saying, “It’s being noticed nowadays that many schools have been destroyed and neglected to be empty pieces of land; and even to build them it takes a long time because of the administrative corruption and contractors tarrying. That will push students to move to another school, and those schools that are receiving more students are being overcrowded. Therefore, the students will certainly be confused and time will be lost. Also, overcrowding will effect services in schools”. On the other hand, His Eminence mentioned that each parliamentarian has to bear the responsibility he is obliged to by taking into consideration the duty he’s been assigned to, and leaving anything else behind. He also called for treating people equally and leaving patronage of relatives.
