The Administration of the University Education Authority at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, hosted the Italian University of Milan representatives to open the doors of cooperation and activate the agreements concluded between the two sides.
Haider Al-Tamimi, the head of the commission, said in a statement to the official website " within the agreements concluded by the Holy Shrine universities, inside and outside Iraq, the delegation representing the Italian University of Milan, came to discuss activating cooperations between Al-Zahra'a University (AS) for girls, and the University of Milan.
Al-Tamimi added, "The meeting discussions have witnessed many topics, including holding a scientific conference at Milan university in cooperation with Al-Zahra'a University, also to exchanging official visitations, and hosting specialized professors from Italy to give scientific lectures, in addition, the Italian delegation sent an official invitation to Al-Zahra'a university administration to visit their university.
It is stated that the Imam Hussain Shrine, through its university education authority, has signed a set of memoranda of understanding with many local, and European universities, including the Italian University of Milan, which ranks eighth in the world.
