Imam Hussain Shrine spent (400M) IQD on treating over (200) medical conditions

The General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced spending over (400) million IQD.. (275,454.56 $), to treat more than (200) medical conditions, from various Iraqi governorates, in the last 2 months, which came under the guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai.

The General Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs at Imam Hussain Shrine, Ahmed Reda Al-Khafaji, said in an interview with the official website, "These cases were treated in hospitals affiliated with The Holy Shrine, such as (Sheikh Ahmed Al-Waeli Medical Educational Foundation), (Warth International Foundation for Oncology), and others at the (Imam Zain Al-Abidin Specialized Hospital), and (Sayeda Zainab Center for ophthalmology) noting that “all these medical, health and treatment services, were provided free of charge to the patients, on the patronage of Imam Hussain Shrine"

It is stated that the Imam Hussain Shrine had previously announced spending over (1) Billion IQD (688,636.40 $) on humanitarian affairs.
