The administration of 'Al-Safeer Hospital' affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, revealed the costs and numbers of the Histological and cellular transplantation laboratory tests, which were conducted for citizens from different Iraqi governorates (For free) under the patronage of the Shrine.
The director of the Histopathology and cellular transplantation laboratory at the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Sahib Al-Ardawi, said in an interview with the official website, "our unit has been inaugurated 5 months ago on Sha`ban 3, 1443 and provided important medical services, especially with those who have cancerous tumors"
Pointing out that the unit has received hundreds of patients to take samples and test them with advanced medical devices, for more than (1,700) medical tests.
He added that "making a histological and cellular test in private medical laboratories may cost a lot of money for people, therefore Imam Hussain Shrine under the guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai, has paid more than (225) million IQD, about (154,777.25 $)
in a few months, to cure people, and help them to recover their health"
It is stated that the Safeer Specialized Hospital at Imam Hussain Shrine, performs hundreds of major and above-major surgeries per month, and provides its services to all patients (for free).
