The activities of the Ninth al-Safeer International Cultural Festival launched amid an attendance of public and official figures from around the world.
The event kicked off with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the Mosque’s anthem, followed by a welcome speech delivered by the Secretary- General of Kufa Grand mosque.
Research and poetic sessions in addition to an Arabic calligraphy exhibition were held on the sidelines of the festival.
