European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq: Imam Ali Holy Shrine is one of the most notable holy and historic places

Markus Ritter, head of the European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq (EUAM Iraq), visited Imam Ali Holy Shrine.

The official expressed his deep respect and pride of being in an archaeological and religious place saying, "The atmosphere at the Holy Shrine is spiritual and holy, in addition to it being one of the most notable holy and historic places in Iraq. As a Christian, I am honored to be in this respectful and holy place. I commend the warm hospitality and reception of the Holy Shrine's officials.”

Ritter asserted the importance of expanding the area of the Holy Shrine and developing the facilities and services rendered to the pilgrims who come from around the globe.
