Cultural Week held in Iran finishes its activities

 

The delegation representing the shrines of Iraq held the closing ceremony for the Cultural Week in the city of Tekab, Iran.

 

A great number of people, including academics, officials, and clerics, attended the closing ceremony. The ceremony was opened with reciting verses of the Noble Quran followed by a speech delivered by sheikh Bradree, imam of congregational prayer in Tekab city, in which he expressed his gratitude for the efforts the delegation made.

 

Aqeel El-Yaseree, assistant director of Intellectual and Educational Affairs Department of El-Abbas Shrine, delivered a speech in behalf of the delegation in which he appreciated the people of Tekab city and its neighboring cities for welcoming the delegation warmly.

 

El-Yaseree also appreciated the efforts made by Chan Natharan and Rezendakan Leagues and how they offered the delegation members the best conveniences.

 

He then said, “We spared no efforts, but we exerted in order to provide you with the atmosphere you like, and we chose this city (Tekab) to hold the Cultural Week in for its kind and generous people, and it is now a place for spreading the knowledge of the Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them).”
