The head of the committee of establishing Warith El-Embeya University Sayyid Afdhel Esh-Shami has stated the reasons behind establishing the university in the holy city of Kerbela.
Esh-Shami, deputy Secretary-General of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, has also said, "The purpose of establishing this university is to ensure the students the best education and the authenticity of information in order to help Iraq be a better country, for education is the most important element for people."
