Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has announced the completion of the preparations for setting off for Pakistan in order to hold the annual Cultural Week festival.
The Cultural Week is a link through which to communicate with Pakistani people. It also keeps them abreast of the late projects the holy shrines in Iraq achieve, said deputy custodian of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine sayyid Afdhel Esh-Shami.
The festival will include book fairs, photo galleries, Quranic activities, and raising the banners of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines in Islamabad, Esh-Shami said further.
He mentioned that five persons of each city they visit would be granted free pilgrimages to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
It is worth mentioning that Imam Hussein Holy Shrine held the Cultural Week in Islamabad last year in cooperation with El-Kawther University where several holy shrines participated in.
