Since the Shia Islamic Supreme Religious Authority issued the verdict of Jihad (holy war against ISIS), Bilal joined Ali El-Akber Paramilitary Brigade of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and began to fight the ISIS.
Bilal was wounded while fighting ISIS in Jazerat Al-Khaldya District – Anbar City. He recovered and went back to fighting ISIS again. Now, he is being treated in hospital due to having been wounded in Ain El-Husan Town – Western Mosul City.
Bilal said that as soon as he recovers completely, he would go back to his troops in order to fight ISIS.
Such wounds never demoralize me ever, said Bilal.
