On the occasion of the Arba’een Pilgrimage to imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), the Department of Religious Tourism of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine revealed a special program for transporting the pilgrims from the borderlines and airports to the holy city of Kerbala.
More than 200 buses have been allocated to transport the pilgrims from the borderlines of Sheeb; Zurrbatiea; Shalamcha; Mahran; and Safoan, in addition to Baghdad; Najaf; and Basra airports to Kerbala.
It is expected, this year, that the number of foreign pilgrims coming from sixty different countries will exceed three millions.
