Within the series of the Quran sessions being held by the Quran House of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine for the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Commando Battalion took part in the Quran session held in Mosul City. The session was begun with reciting holy verses from the Noble Quran by an elite of Quran reciters from the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine followed by paramilitaries.
The director of the Quran Session campaign, Ammar El-Khuza’e, said that the paramilitaries sent their gratitude and a letter to the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority, his Eminence sayyid Ali Al-Systani, saying that they still and will always keep their pledge of allegiance to his Eminence "Al-Systani" by defending Iraq and liberating the ISIS-occupied areas.
El-Khuza’e said further that they also sent their gratitude to the imam Hussein Holy Shrine for holding such sessions that influence the paramilitaries and encourage them.
