Twenty thousand cultural competitions in different languages at Imam Redha Holy Shrine during Ramadan

During holy month of Ramadan, 20,000 cultural competitions were held at the Holy Shrine of Imam Redha in Mashhad, Iran.

“Competitions on the Holy Quran, Religion, etc. were organized on a daily basis, especially for non-Iranian pilgrims,” the director of non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Imam Redha Holy Shrine said. According to shrine’s official website, Seyyed Mohammad Jawad Hasheminihad said, “Due to the large presence of non-Iranian pilgrims during the spiritual days of Ramadan at the Imam Redha Holy Shrine, a variety of special programs and competitions were organized.”  

He explained that one of the goals of the competition is to pay attention to the understanding of religious matters and the issues of the holy month of Ramadan, laws, traditions and Quranic verses.

Precious awards were handed to the winners.
