Popular Mobilization Forces deny blowing up houses in Anbar

After an Arab social media campaign, related to a foreign agenda, was launched to defame the reputation of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the head of Ali El-Akber Paramilitary Brigade of the Imam Hussein holy Shrine, Ali El-Hemedanee, denied what was said that the Popular Mobilization Forces blew up houses in El-Hamdheya Province in Anbar City - Western Iraq; at a meeting attended by local notables of the province. He also said that the troops’ role is humanitarian before it is military.

El-Hemedanee added that the troops are complying with the directives of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority, and are firmly related to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.

He said further that the social media campaign was launched after ISIS was defeated in Jazerat El-Khaldeya Province to overshadow the victories of Popular Mobilization Forces.

The local notables expressed their trust in Ali El-Akber Paramilitary Brigade, confirming that there are entities attempting to rupture the unity of the Iraqi people. By: Hussein El-KhushaimiTranslated by: Mohammed Alobaidi
