The official spokesman of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Mr. Afdhel Esh-Shami declared the success of the Sha'baneya Pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (peace Be Upon him), -the birth anniversary of the Awaited Imam El-Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance). He said that millions of Muslims, Shia Muslim the majority, came from all over the cities of Iraq and the Islamic world to participate in such a blessed pilgrimage.He said further that the pilgrimage was very well protected in a way that all threats and planned attacks on the Holy City of Kerbala failed. He, therefore, expressed his thankfulness to those who exerted all efforts to succeed the pilgrimage where there were no any cases of death or suffocation.
