High-level Iranian delegation presents Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine’s banner to Iraqi paramilitaries

Sayyid Afdhel Esh-Shami, Deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, received a high-level delegation from the Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine, Iran, at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.

 

The delegation consisted of sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim Saibawaih; preacher at the Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine, sayyid Mehdi El-Hashimi; spokesman of the Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine, sayyid Mohammed Ghaiyathi; Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine caller to prayer and Quran reciter, and sayyid Mohsin Sharafit; director of the International Department in the Youth Foundation of the Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine.

 

Both sides exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the birthday of Imam Er-Ridha (Peace Be Upon Him). Esh-Shami expressed his happiness to have received them, thanking them for their coming.

 

Sheikh Saibawaih said that the delegation came to congratulate, His Eminence, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala’i  and all those who work for Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) on the birthday anniversary of Imam Er-Ridha (Peace Be Upon Him). He also delivered the greetings of the Secretary-General of the Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine, His Eminence, sheikh Wa’idh Tubrusi to all the employees of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.

 

He added that the Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine continues to communicate with people annually by sending its banner to 200 Iranian cities, 45 cities of 12 Arab and foreign countries, and the war wounded in terms of granting them the opportunity to seek the blessing of the Almighty Allah through the banner which has been blessed by the Allah-blessed Imam Er-Ridha (Peace Be Upon Him).

 

He said further that the delegation made a pilgrimage to Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) and met with Islamic religious authorities, and would afterwards make a pilgrimage to Imam Ali El-Hadi and Imam El-Hasan El-Eskeri (Peace Be Upon Them) in Samarra City. After that, the banner of Imam Er-Ridha Holy Shrine would be given to the popular mobilization forces to encourage them to be steadfast in defending their holy shrines, their country, and their families.
