El-Kerbala'i: Neighboring Countries Must Prevent ISIS Members From Sneaking Into Iraq

July 10, 2015. Second part of the Friday's Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday's Sermon in Kerbala, his eminence Sheikh Abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i mentioned three issues:

First.

Based on information from the battlefield and based on the ISIS corpses found, there is still a number of the ISIS militants who are of Arab and foreign nationalities; not Iraqis, who are still fighting in Iraq. That indicates that there is continuous unseriousness and remissness practiced by some regional and international parties in not preventing new members from joining the ISIS.

The continuous carelessness policy is going to deteriorate the status quo in Iraq. In addition, it is going to negatively affect the neighboring countries.

Therefore, all the countries, especially those from which the ISIS comes, are invited to take serious actions in terms of preventing individuals from joining the ISIS.

Second.

Medical attention is so essential in the battlefield to medically treat the casualties. We have also invited the Ministry of Home Affairs and Minister of Defense to provide the soldiers with the best medical treatments.

Third.

The education statistics in Iraq indicated that the rate of students who pass the final exam in high school has deteriorated, and that requires studying the reasons behind that. Therefore, the concerned authorities should take into consideration this issue and should rectify the educational process.
