Security officials stated that it is not easy to control the holy city of Kerbala when it receives millions of pilgrims several times a year. But, no terrorist activities or riot actions happened during the pilgrimages, said, security specialists from the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The director of the Department of Explosives of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Hussein Fadhil, said that his department is well connected with the General Department of Explosives, located in Baghdad, in terms of employing everything possible to ensure security to Kerbala.
