Advanced phases of Zainebian Mound Sanctuary project will be achieved before next Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Shrine has confirmed that 75% of the concrete works of the Zainebian Mound Sanctuary project will be achieved before the next Arba’een pilgrimage.

Department director engineer Hussain Ridha Mehdi said that the project is still underway, noting that 95% of the excavations have been achieved, and a long tunnel will be built for facilitating pilgrims' traffic.

It is noteworthy that the Zainebian Mound Sanctuary will add an area 8 times larger than the area of the Imam Hussain Shrine.
