Over half a million dollars spent on war casualties

Warith Center for Smart Prostheses and Medical Rehabilitation – affiliated with the Imam Hussain Shrine – has announced the cost of the medical treatment and smart prostheses it helped low-income war amputees: civilians, soldiers, and paramilitaries with.

Director of the center Dr. Yaser EsSa’idi said, “Since the center was opened and until the end of 2018, the center provided low-income casualties with 626 smart prostheses at a cost of $452,006, and free-of-charge prostheses – donated by the Imam Hussain Shrine – costed $90,000.”

The center announced last week the arrival of the world’s smartest prothesis in Kerbela.
