Protocol for collaboration between Imam Hussain Shrine – Sudanese former Minister of Agriculture and international organization

The management of Fadak Farms, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Shrine, has researched prospects for a collaboration with a delegation from the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development and a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture.

The Sudanese delegation comprised of the general director of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, Sudan’s former Minister of Agriculture, and a group of experts specialized in agriculture.

The director of Fadak Farms, Fa’iz Easa Abol-Ma’ali, said: “The delegation’s visit came to get to know the technologies Fadak Farms uses and the method of growing date trees and treating palm shoots. We have agreed to a protocol that brings Iraqi agronomists and Sudanese agronomists together to exchange expertise toward nurturing the unique types of date trees.”

Abol-Ma’ali added that the director of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development expressed his admiration for the scientific methods of growing various types of date trees and hoped for a collaboration in the future.
