Thousand-children's-writers project to be launched all over Iraq

The Child Care Department, affiliated wiht the Imam Hussain Shrine, has stated its strategic plan to launch a 1,000-children’s-writers project all over Iraq.

Department Director Mohammed AlHisnawi said, “This project aims to educate 1000 children’s writers all over Iraq within 10 years.”

He added that the project will include training workshops run by experienced writers.

“All the trainees must be between 15-40 years old, and the works of those who graduate will be published by the department,” AlHisnawi noted.

The Child Care Department continues to organize activities, such as courses, workshops, and theater, in addition to publishing books and magazines for children.
