Egyptian academics review role of Imam Hussain Shrine in developing religious tourism

Iraqi researcher Mehdi Al Saadi, director of the Unit of Media and Relations of the Department of Human Resources Development at the Imam Hussain Shrine, has participated in the activities of the Second International Conference titled “Touristic Marketing of the Delta Area” held by Elmensureh University in the Republic of Egypt.

Al Saadi presented a topic “The Role of the Religious Shrines in the Development of Religious Tourism in Iraq: Imam Hussain Shrine as an example.”

The College of Tourism and Hotels – at Elmensureh University – has approved of Al Saadi’s research to be published in a special issue.
