Representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi AlKarbala’ey called for prioritizing the common fundamentals of the social and religious relations among the Iraqi people, in a meeting with members of the board of the Iraqi Islamic Jurisprudence Assembly.
AlKarbala’ey said further that His Eminence sayyid Ali ElSistani, Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, mentioned – in previous Friday’s sermons – that national and religious commonalities conjoin the Iraqi people and prompt them to live in harmony, noting that cultural coexistence is key to living with others and respecting their cultures and traditions.
Dr. Abdul-Wehab EsSamarra’ey, imam and preacher at Abi Heneefeh EnNu’man Mosque, said there is cultural and scientific cooperation between the ElAbbas Shrine and the Iraqi Islamic Jurisprudence Assembly.
