Water filtration plants maximize water output to rescue Basrah's people

As responsive as possible, the Imam Hussain Shrine has maximized water output produced by its three water filtration plants – located in three areas in the city of Basrah – to rescue Basrah's people who have been poisoned due to contaminated water.

Mohammed Elhebboobi – director of Water Treatment Division of the Imam Hussain Shrine – said, “We have maximized water output to provide people with as much water as possible during Basrah’s water crisis. We have finished installing 30 water filtration plants in the city of Basrah, but the plants have not been able to operate due to pending government’s funding.
